Cousins

May 15th 2010 was Katy's graduation party.  Here are a few shots of family.  I'm sorry I didn't get photos of Ted and Carol.

So, we have David, Nathan, Megan, Rebekah, and Allyson Szczepanski;

and Megan, Katy, and Michelle Jastal.

So, mom (to some), grandma or Auntie Lee (to others) wanted to get photos of everyone by the fireplace.  I took advantage of that for several photos.  Michelle and Leona . . .

David and Heidi.

If you're wondering about the fish, there were a couple little boys fishing.  I was walking around the pond with Brinya and she was quite interested in what the boys were doing.  She even petted the fish.

I couldn't resist photographing tree flowers.

Here's (if this writing ends up in the right place) Auntie Loree (to some), mom or grandma (to others) sitting here holding little Vara Macievna Scott.

In this game of Ladder the competition was Ray and Megan against David and Rebekah.

Daughter Heidi and mom Lorene

One of the activities at the party was blowing up balloons with a special pump, and then releasing them.  So this group decided to get a bunch of balloons pumped up and releasing them at the same time.

Brinya almost went down the slide this time, but decided against it in the end.

Vara found one of the buckets of ice (melted to quite a bit of water) and had a great time playing in it.

Mom/grandma/Auntie Lee finally took a break after helping to clean up.

April Church Youth Dance

I know I have some activities out of order, but at least they're posted. So, back in April, like on the 10th, the youth attended their dance in Findlay OH. Here are a few photos from that activity.

Martial Arts Competition

On Saturday, May 8th, Devin participated in his first Martial Arts Competition. There were team and individual open hand and weapon katas.

We went to the Toledo Zoo and saw lions, tigers and bears; oh my

Ok, so maybe you don't see those lions, tigers and bears you thought you were going to see. However, I've posted a sampling of our zoo visit views.

Zachary

He told me that when he gets his photo taken, he just has a blank expression. I guess I'm lucky to have one little smile.
